    • Proof of studentship (Student ID OR admission letter. Admission letter and a recent receipt of fee payment for continuing students who do not have a student ID)
    • Proof of residence (any of the following):
      - Ghana Post digital address (should be same as on your Ghana Card)
      - Utility bill in applicant's name (not more than 3 months old) OR
      - Tenancy agreement with utility bill OR
      - Local government rate document OR
      - Bank statement containing current address (not more than 3 months old) OR
      - Introductory  letter from an existing Absa customer who has known the applicant for more than 1 year (appendix A)

     

    Ghanaian living abroad
    • Valid passport (bio data page) or Ghana Card (front and back)
    • Address confirmation (any of the following):
      - Utility bill in applicant's name (not more than 3 months old) OR
      - Social Security statement OR
      - State ID with applicant's address OR
      - Driver's license with applicant's address OR
      - Bank statement containing applicant's name and address (not more than 3 months old)
    • Foreign TIN (mandatory for US persons)
    • Evidence of certification of documents by:
      - Lawyer OR
      - Notary public OR
      - Court of competent jurisdiction
    Note:
    • Evidence of certification of documents is mandatory for Ghanaians living abroad
    • The person undertaking the certification must be known and capable of being contacted if necessary

     

    Foreigners living in Ghana
    • Ghana Card (front and back) or valid passport for diplomats and their dependents
    • Proof of residence (any of the following):
      - Ghana Post digital address (should be same as on your Ghana Card) OR
      - Utility bill in applicant's name (not more than 3 months old) OR
      - Tenancy agreement with utility bill OR
      - Bank statement containing applicant’s name and address
      - Introductory letter from an existing Absa customer who knows the applicant (appendix A)
