  • How to start talking to Abby

    1. Add Abby +233 501 644644 as a new contact on your phone
    2. Open WhatsApp and say 'Hello'  to your new contact
    3. Start chatting
  • How to use Abby's login feature

     

    To request certain account information, you'll need to log in.

    To do this, simply: 

     

    1. Ask Abby a question about your account, like 'show my balances' or 'make a transfer'
    2. Abby will send you a login link. Click on the link to open it in your browser
    3. Enter your internet banking login credentials
    4. Make sure you are using the cellphone number you registered with Absa
  • How to see your account balances

     

    Abby can easily show you your balance on different accounts.

    To do this, simply: 

     

    1.  Ask Abby to 'Show my balances'
    2. Abby will give you the total balance of all your accounts, plus any outstanding amounts on your credit cards
    3. Reply 'yes' to see a breakdown of all your accounts
       

    You can also ask Abby to show balances for specific accounts by asking: 'show current balances', 'show savings balances', or 'show credit card balances'.

  • How to transfer money

     

    Abby can transfer money between your accounts.
    To do this, simply: 
     

    1. Ask Abby to 'make a transfer' 
    2. Select the account you want to transfer from 
    3. Select the account you want to transfer to 
    4. Enter the amount you want to transfer
    5. Confirm your transfer
  • How to pay beneficiaries

     

    Abby can transfer money to your beneficiaries.

    To do this, simply: 

     

    1.  Ask Abby to 'pay someone'
    2. Select the beneficiary you would like to pay
    3. Select the account you would like to pay them from
    4. Enter the amount you want to pay
    5. Confirm the payment
    6. You will receive a confirmation number. Please keep this number for your records
  • How to pay billers

     

    Abby can pay your billers. To do this, simply: 

     

    1. Ask Abby to 'pay a bill' 
    2. Select the biller you want to pay
    3. Select the account you want to pay from
    4. Enter the amount you want to pay
    5. Confirm your transfer
  • How to see your transactions

     

    Abby can show you your transaction history up to 90 days back.
    To do this, simply ask Abby to 'show transactions'.

     

    You can filter your transaction results by asking Abby more specific questions, like: 
     

    • Show transactions from October 
    • Show transactions between GHS 100 and GHS 500 
    • Show incoming transactions 
    • Show outgoing transactions
    • Show my transactions from current account
