Are you a Ghanaian living abroad?
Now you can open an account from abroad! Simply download the application form, fill in the details and sign where applicable. Then email the form and required documents to us at service.excellence.GH@absa.africa. Banking abroad is easy to apply for and gives you 24/7 access to our call centre for all your banking needs. Existing customers need to complete only the additional account opening form.

Captured card complaint process
File a complaint to Absa bank within two working days after ATM captures your card. Present your National ID to retrieve your card. Where the card is captured by a non-Absa ATM and is not collected within two working days, it shall be returned to Absa Bank. The card will be blocked /deactivated after two working days if not picked up.
