How to register and manage your account
  • How to register (new user)

     
    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh
    2. Click logon next to the search tab
    3. Click register
    4. Enter customer information and accept the terms and conditions 
    5. Customer receives OTP via SMS 
    6. Enter OTP and click next
    7. Create username and password on the password confirmation screen
    8. Click next
    9. You will see a confirmation screen and you are now registered for internet banking
  • How to reset a PIN

     

    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh

    2. Select Forgot username/password

    3. Select ID type

    4. Enter ID number

    5. Enter date of birth

    6. Select verification method: account number or credit card

    7. Account number

    8. Enter account number without branch code

    9. Enter digit of specific positions of your debit card as requested (e.g. when debit card number is 4321 0681 9561 8843, 2nd, 4th, 12th and 16th positions would be 3, 1, 1, 3)

    10. Enter debit card expiry date

    11. Enter CVV

    12. Select branch

    13. Enter received one-time PIN (OTP)

    14. Create new password

    15. Confirm new password

  • How to set up standing orders

     
    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh
    2. Click logon next to the search tab
    3. Click login
    4. Enter username and password and click log in
    5. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next
    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab above
    7. Select Standing instruction on your right. Select 'Set up a standing instruction'
    8. Select account to debit, payee, amount, date, recurring instruction and payment description.
    9. Review and confirm transaction details
    10. Submit and wait for OTP
    11. Enter OTP
    12. You will see a confirmation screen
  • How to request a chequebook

     

    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh

    2. Click logon next to the search tab

    3. Click login

    4. Enter username and password and click log in

    5. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next

    6. Select 'Accounts & Transactions' tab above                                                                  

    7. Select account which you request chequebook on

    8. Select chequebook request on the right

    9. Select booklet type

    10. Select collection branch and submit

    11. You will see a confirmation screen

  • How to set up SMS alert

     

    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh

    2. Click logon next to the search tab

    3. Click login

    4. Enter username and password and click log in

    5. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next

    6. Select 'Customer Service' tab above                                                                  

    7. Select 'Alert' on your right

    8. Select account you want alert on

    9. Specify alert details and submit                                                                                                               

    8. Wait and enter OTP

    9. You will see a confirmation screen

    2. Click logon next to the search tab

    3. Click login

    4. Enter username and password and click log in

    5. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next

    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab above                                                                  

    7. Select account you want to transfer funds from and payee

    8. For a registered payee, enter amount, payment description and click next (For a new payee, enter customer details and follow the next steps)

    9. Review and confirm transaction details

    10. You will see a confirmation screen

    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh

    2. Click logon next to the search tab

    3. Click login

    4. Enter username and password and click log in

    5. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next

    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab above

    7. Select Mobile Wallet Services on your right

    8. Select account you want to transfer funds from and payee

    9. For a registered payee, enter amount, payment description and click next (For a new payee, enter customer details and follow the next steps)

    10. Review and confirm transaction details

    11. You will see a confirmation screen

    1. Visit www.absa.com.gh

    2. Click logon next to the search tab

    3. Click login

    4. Enter username and password and click log in

    5. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next

    6. Select 'transfer and payment' tab above                                                                  

    7. Select 'fund transfer' on your right

    8. Select account you want to transfer funds from and payee

    9. Select 'Domestic Non Absa real time pay

    10. For a registered payee, enter amount, payment description and click next (For a new payee, enter customer details and follow the next steps)

    11. Review and confirm transaction details

    12. You will see a confirmation screen

How to pay your Absa credit card and pay your utility bills online
  • How to pay your Absa credit card

     
    1. Log into Absa Internet Banking
    2. Click on ‘Pay Now’ button beside your credit card number
    3. Select the account to debit
    4.  Click on the button to select the payment option
    5. Enter the Payment Description and click Next
    6.  Confirm the transaction
  • How to pay your utility bills online

     
    1. Log into Absa Internet Banking
    2. Select the ‘Transfer & Payment’ tab
    3. Select ‘New Payee’ under ‘Pay Bill’
    4.  Select the Biller Type
    5.  Select the Biller and follow the prompts to make payment
